Hong Kong Park, Friday. This morning I stopped by the Park, first time since the Occupy Movement began in Admiralty. Sadly, I have to acknowledge what I was suspecting all along: the energy has been severely compromised. Usually, I get so enlivened by the greenery and the flowing water and fresh air. I am inspired to take photos since the photos can convey the good vibes. But today, the air felt dense, limpid, almost dead. So this brings home a message. The trees, plants, water, insects and birds--they do not talk politics. But the elementals and devic spirits inhabit all parts of Nature, and they weave a subtly complex & powerful matrix that sustains all living creatures, including humans. Without the trees, birds and bees, wed be a very lonely and endangered species. Nature has sentience. Nature feels, knows, intuits with a wisdom function that is much more powerful than the modern mans brain. Nature does not talk politics or political agenda, because these things are too ephemeral and fluctuate moment by moment, subject to circumstantial conditions. Nature embodies the Dao--the infinite Flow or Path. But Nature knows vibrations. When a place becomes a vortex for violent confrontations, verbal & physical abuse, outbursts of anger, resentment and cursing--the elementals shy away and do not draw near. They simply withdraw their network and go into some sort of limbo state. And thats what is happening in the Park.
