Hong Kong actor and Singer celebrity.....Andy Lau did the right thing in Japan. During a concert on June 5, 2014, he emphasised and reaffirm his identity to be that of a Chinese. Even though he is also a Cantopop singer, he was proud enough to stake his position that first and foremost he is a Chinese........ he also underscored that music should have no national boundaries, but not as a singer and music man, he has an identity, and that identity is that of a Chinese. In todays Hong Kong, how many of todays Hong Kong youths are like Andy Lau?...... or for that matter, their academic mentors in the colleges and universities? Why are so many Hong Kong intellectuals, academics, professionals, including in the media and the legal profession so incapable and colonial-minded that they cant decipher and cant figure out who they are and what their identity is, huh? Many are so muddled and confused as to Hong Kongs history, how Hong Kongs sovereignty was wrestled away after the Opium War, and colonized by the British, because of opium. To this day, many Hong Kongers still harbor that illusion and naivite to think that they are British subjects.......... worse, they mistake one country, two systems during this transition period of fifty (5) years to be no country, two systems, or worse.... no country, no system. The craven, mendicant Hong Kongers even go as far as pushing for American country, American system. Hogwash. Mei You Ge Neng. Let these SOBS and confused Hong Kongers emigrate. Let em.
