Honolulu------Seems that Hawaii Senator Brian Schatz (D-Hawaii) will represent the democrats this fall in the General Election will be held on November 4, 2014 amid numerous problems the Office of Elections is going through. Today, The Big Island held a special election for two precincts who were unable to vote last week due to Tropical Storm Iselle which many residents of Puna are still without power or running water, but Scott Nago, who Representative Colleen Hanabusa said overstepped his authority when he authorize this special election where only 12 percent of Punas 8700 voters turned out to vote today. And with the revelation that Maui found an additional 800 ballots that were unaccounted for, todays election is certain to face legal scrutiny.
