Honorable USA Ambassador Mr Dan Shapiro, I must apologize, I should approach you but I cannot find any other media to communicate with the Nonimmigrant Visa Unit to solve an URGENT need to fix a mistake. A week ago I have send the 3rd and 4rd notes explaining the situation created by a mistake and yesterday I have send also a follow up to the Emergencies email. I still didnt go an answer to the email, in spite that the Embassy Help Desk informed me that the average response time is 3-4 business days and the Unit does not accept any type of telephone call or even calling back to me. The subject of my notes is: URGENT - EMERGENCY SITUATION. A valid, B1/B2 VISA until July 15th 2014, not yet expired, and approved less than a year ago based on a waiver approved, by DHS-USCIS was cancelled by mistake, in my passport, causing very serious problems and tremendous hardship to my family due my inability to travel next week without it My travel is part of humanitarian support plan to my son, USA resident, and to my two young grandchildren (5 and 7 years old) which are American Citizens. These children have suffered abduction during 2 years, about 2 years ago, they was kept far away from their father and from us and was recovered thank you to great support we got from the Abducted Children Section from the State Department. The mistake cancelling my valid visa was probably caused due to the fact that it was not clear to the NIV unit or didnt pay attention that I am must travel next week on a valid Visa approved by DHS-USCIS for the second time after the event causing the need to apply with a Waiver to the USCIS. I have already make it clear in my notes that the suspicion of me being not eligible for VISA for a unfortunately misunderstanding at the USA border that happen on Nov 2010 was a later on totally dismiss by the DHS office in charge and by Immigration Judge from NY state. All the details and full information and proving documents is included in my several notes sent to [email protected] I hope that a member of your staff / office or from the Consulate office can call me if additional clarification are needed to reestablish my valid visa, in my passport, to let me travel on April 8th for the humanitarian reasons and needs I have explained in my notes and also in the new waiver application, for the extension of my visa to the 2nd half of this year and further.
