Honorable mature men (say 30 plus) , with no criminal charges or violent pasts who have been trained in their use (martial arts, ex soldiers, ex Police, security officers etc), should be ALLOWED at common law to bear arms on their person, vehicle or houses for the PROTECTION of the weak, women and children and innocent victims against the gutless criminal gangs, rapists and killers that the court system allows to roam our society. While I am at it, bring back the death penalty for certain crimes. Murdering a Police Officer in the course of his duties just one of them.
