Quote from Oklahoma City Police Department We are deeply saddened to report that the K9 that was stabbed last night while attempting to take a violent felon into custody, passed away this afternoon as a result of his injuries. His name was Kye, he was three years old and he was from Belgium. He had two years of service with our department. His unit number was K-7. Rest in peace, Kye.
