Honoring the service of 100-year old Army veteran Mildred Hopkins-Pretzer, who received her Army medals recently! Mildred enlisted in the Womens Army Auxiliary Corps in 1943 and left service in the Womens Army Corps in 1943 as a 2nd Lt. “I have on me all the medals that could be awarded to a WAC in World War II. Thank you for sharing this event – the highlight of my life – with me. This ceremony is beyond anything that any WAC could have imagined or anticipated for her service as a WAC in World War II, said Mildred whose husband of 65 years was at the ceremony.
