Honoured to speak to 400 Advanced Life Underwriters (CALU) this morning about Canadas need for coherent economic growth agenda. Canadas national economic growth rate is an anemic 1.5% - too weak to bolster the middle-class or to sustain fiscal balance over long-term. Growth agenda for Canada should include pro-growth tax policy, better trade+marketing, urgent investments in infrastructure, science and post-secondary education.
