Hoo boy, this one is a good one... First of all, I am proud of Jaxon for earning $30 helping me out. He chose to spend it today at Dunhams on an air soft Walther P99 pistol. I hand him a pocket knife and he opens the package as I drive us away towards the church office. We stop at the Little General at Nell Jean Square for snacks and I get my first hands on look at his purchase. I check out the clip, work the slide and seeing that were about to be late for praise team rehearsal, I put it down, open the door and say Okay, lets do this! Thats when Jax grabs my arm and says Stop!, pointing to the terrified looking lady staring at me from the car next to us. There was also another young lady whose cigarette hadnt quite reached her mouth before she froze in stark terror at the thought of being at the scene of an armed robbery surely about to be committed. When I realized what this all must have looked like I died laughing and actually came out of the car with my own hands up. This didnt seem to put the two ladies at ease, the damage had already been done. Good times, good times.
