Theyre made to see material things and how to secure them in Christ Jesus. But theyre not shown the danger of greed, avarice, and discontentment. These ministers drank into the gospel from America in the early 90s. The gospel of capitalism, consumerism and greed. The idea is Show the world that we have Christ, by the things we have. Show them that your God is a rich God. So, everybody started rushing for his Bentley and bling bling. All in trying to make their followers not to be heavenly conscious and earthly useless, they became earthly conscious and heavenly useless. When last did the popular, wealthy, handsome looking and refined pastors and their wives teach us what it means To not love the world system? Alas! They wont. They rather teach How to use the world for our advantage. The world has taken the church. Unbelievers also attend their services to learn the principles to wealth and leave after service, still lost in their souls and comfortable in their lust. That an anointed man does a thing doesnt make it right. That a principle or style of worship is from America doesnt mean God sanctions it. I see Satan smiling and giggling over many local churches saying They bought it; hook line and sinker. He he he. How many of our followers spend time everyday to be on their belly, praying with fire in their hearts? Their desires are for earthly things. Pastors, we are guilty! He that has ears should listen to what the spirit is saying to the churches.
