Hooray for some evidence supporting that we can actually train ourselves to enjoy healthy foods! Although further research is required, this small study looked performed brain scans on overweight and obese men and women who were either enrolled in a weight-loss program or were not. The results found that at the end of a 6-month program, the weight-loss program group showed increased reward centre activity after seeing images of low-calorie foods and decreased activity in response to high-calorie foods.
