Hope . . . These things dont seem to come easily to me. This is the drive mechanism for a set of wings which will be 18 feet across. There have been an almost equal number of trials and errors in the development of this piece. The spars are made of balsa wood and will be covered with paper feathers. It will be motion activated and hang in an atrium at Fitchburg State University to accompany my solo show in mid-September of this year. I will post progress reports over the next several weeks on Facebook.
