Hope You Are Not Waiting In Ignorance? I have seen people wait on God for something. I have watch them put their trust in God yet nothing seems to happen. They have waited for weeks, months even years and they are almost fed up. Is it that God doesnt want to answer them or they are not doing the right thing? Maybe they are doing the right thing but not effectively or from their mind. Talking about waiting on God, how many people are actually waiting on God correctly? Because, God does not abandon those who are genuinely and effectively seeking His face and going extra mile longing to hear from Him. Are you waiting on God for anything? How are you waiting on God? Recently, the way became dark for me, and I was no longer seeing the path towards my purpose. I prayed, I worshipped God, but yet, everything was still dark if not darker. I thought I have lost the vision, I thought I could no longer hear from God. I waited to hear from God through prayers, but my prayers were just on the surface. I was doing the right thing, but not effectively. I almost began doing things on my own, but I remember I cant do without hearing from God. So I switch to the spiritual realm and started praying more seriously. I also increased the rate at which I spread the gospel to people around me at any given opportunity, then not quite long, the word of God came to me, He instructed that I should go read a book, which Im still reading, and just yesterday, He revealed the next thing to do. God always hear and answer us, just that we dont approach His throne correctly. Dear when God seems silent dont hang the phone continue in ur request He is silent listing to you. What are you waiting on God for? Could it be a life partner, admission into the university, healing, fruit of the womb, your purpose, etc? I want you to know that there is a way to wait on God and seek His face. There is a way you could pull His attention to focus on you. There is a way you could unlock the doors and windows of heaven over your life. And the way is through prayers, praise and worship, studying of His word and doing His will not just because you needed something from Him, but because thats how it ought to be. Many of us who are waiting on God are too lazy to pray, some dont even believe in speaking in tongues - its quite funny. When they pray, in less than 10-15mins they are done praying. This are the same people you will give romantic novel to consume, or home video/movie and they will spend hours in it. To read and meditate on the bible is like a poison to them, but they claim to be waiting for Gods manifestation. Why wont they tarry for forever? Why wont God feel unconcerned? I dont often pray in known tongue (English) ever since I receive the gift of tongues, If I do, I wont spend more than 10mins and I will be short of words. What can I say in any known language to my God for up to 1hour? But in tongues, I could go beyond that, because, the Holy Spirit is helping me. This is what many Christian dont know, and if you try to talk to them about tongues, they tell you they dont believe in it. But how can one serve God effectively without the baptism of the Holy Spirit? I still wonder if its possible, because I remember before I receive this great gift, I was so empty and so dull a Christian. When you speak in tongues, you speak directly to your heavenly Father. No one hears you nor understands you, not even yourself nor the devil, except in cases where God gives you interpretation. This is the fastest way I reach my Creator, dont know about others. To wait on God effectively and get result, you need to do this... to be continued...
