Hope for clear skies this Friday night as we could see a storm of meteors lighting up the sky. The peak time to look should be from 11:30 pm PDT for about two or three hours. Tips for watching: Get as far away from city lights as possible. If the shower really is as strong as astronomers are predicting, there is a good chance you will be able to see some even in the city, but the darker the better. Dress warmly, even if the temperatures seem warm, as you will not be moving much. Lying on an air mattress, a blanket/sleeping bag or chaise lounge, where you get a good view of the whole sky is best for viewing - and for your neck.
