Hope springs eternal when writing the syllabus: We will have a course pack, and you will need these editions of these books. You should have these books with you and ready to show me and your classmates that you are ready for the semester on the first day of class. If you do not have these books on the first day, you will be dismissed from class, and marked absent for that day. Again, you need these editions of these books. They are available from online retailers, and I have given the information to the campus bookstore, as I am required to do. However getting the correct books in a timely manner is up to you. If you want to save a dollar and order a used copy from a used book dealer in Djibouti, feel free, but your responsibilities remain the same. You may order electronic editions if you wish, but Id suggest paper for these main texts.
