Reading Through The Book Of Acts Acts 23 (Tuesday, July 2nd) In today’s reading, Paul is made to appear before the Sanhedrin for questioning so that the Roman commander could understand what he was being accused of. Things did not go well and Paul had to be rescued by the soldiers. At this point, things looked pretty bad for Paul. But the Lord Jesus encouraged him, reminding him that he was not forsaken and he would testify in Rome. Have you ever had a time when things just weren’t going well? Did you feel that there was little hope for your situation? Call on Jesus and find in him courage and hope to go on. Read Acts 23.
