Ayr 16.30……We go for Michael Dods trained LE CHAT D’OR at the expense of the expected Fallon mount of Balducci. He was running on well at the finish at Haydock last time out and can make the frame at an EW price. Windsor 19.00…..BLACKBALL is the nominated ahead of Estibdaad….last time out was unlucky when stumbled 2 f out when had every chance. Interesting is Rioja Day who is John Hills only runner with his yard flying at the moment….. yet this will show at 20/1 due to poor form…maybe a littel EW nibble? Windsor 20.00.….POETIC LORD won for us earlier in the season and was fancied last time out when while prominent on inside rail, the saddle slipped and virtually pulled up and finished last of 8. Best ignored we will look for an EW oppportunity at around 12/1 tonight. Windsor 20.30…….And we look for another EW opportunity. Lady Herries usually has her horses stripping reasonable fit first time out so we opt for SWIFT BLADE who should also be available around 12/1. He should strip fit after a 2m hurdle at Ludlow outing. Obvious danger is Ralph Beckett’s Poyle Thomas who is a proven distance winner and finished mid division in a Class 3 event last time out without really being put in a serious race.
