For this ‘Sun’ day. I appreciated the SOM subject for this ‘Sun’ day, ‘Love is the Secret’ , In fact my previous entry ended on that note…Love the meaning of love that I have long noted. The lyrics ‘Endless Love’ Richey and Ross , captured my heart decades ago followed by Lionel’s Three times a lady’ That ‘love’ sentiment suggested that the beauty of sharing should dominate one’s views of the ‘divinity of ‘femininity’. Of course my preference in musical delivery remains the classics of a Duke Ellington, Wynton Marsalis, Coltrane etc. Such beauty of thought.. Changes…like my theme of ‘a Buried Past’ Fortunately we have memory to call upon to restore the dignity of order whenever it is challenged by those who practice a ‘lower’ concept of self’ I want to relate all that I encounter to the theme of ‘a buried past’ which dominates my thinking. I noted SOM this ‘Sun’day about George Washington Carver, an African American Icon if you will who though having he ‘slave’ beginning emerged as a giant among inventors, who shared his genius by performing miracles with the peanut. The maker of numerous products presently available to an unknowing public. Peanut butter is now a valued food commodity.. by Carter’s genius with that plant. However, I would like to back track or should I fast forward crediting ancient inventors , scientists, mathematicians engineers… of the ethnic identity of GWC. Remember the pyramid builders, whose efforts I believe were thwarted by the ultimate use of pyramids… to preserve remains of members of te nobility of the ancient land and their possessions. Which renders the whole pyramid architecture tainted…. To the degree of questioning the significance of those artifacts. George Washington Carver, in my estimating of his talent, inherited that genius from very ancient roots. A very disinquished entourage of scientist, many the first to invent and explore…. And to bequeath that knowledge to countless generations to follow before and contributing to the rise of Greece and Rome .. Western civililztiion and eastern civilization.vilization. We do not know Imhotep the master scientist of that ancient, remote civilization who reigned prior to the philosophers of this period… even Plato, Socrates, Aristotle gained prominence from the information provided to them borrowed from very ancient scrolls. To know these things wouild be an additional route to ‘knowing God’ the Infinite giver of all gifts. I will not specify here, except to state that knowing of the predecessors to those we have been exposed to provides a clearer path to the divine order of the universe and all the people who occupy it. George Washington Carver had a unique gift and a vibrant spirit for survival. Years ago while visiting Tuskegee, I heard the unorthodox story from the people and from those who tended the scientist before he expired. He had been deprived of a very essential part of himself, so that he poured that tremendous mind and energy into his work. That is part of the ‘unorthodox’ source of knowledge like the psychics and the seers who make more profound sharing of knowledge. This has nothing to do with the alleged tree of knowledge of ‘good and evil’… those are not compatible and would not be part of a tree rooted in good. Just that and yes, Love of humanity in its varied manifestations attests to the eternal presence of the Divine. The great philosopher from that era is an ancestor…. Thou hast made a Nile in heaven that it fall for them… O God of Eternity… How great it is what thou hast made.’ I honor and cite and believe in ancestral veneration….which the missionaries attempted to extract from the people’s customs and traditions. Prophecy has proven quite accurate related to this people. The one passage that the prophets repeat about the ancients is… They will know I am the Lord… That is such a divine goal that his people displaced and exiled, even in the lands of their birth. … relegated to the townships and burros of the beautiful spacious land … I noted that…. No where does this people rule and utilize the wealth of their own lands. Those lands still occupied by settlers and ruled by other than the indigenous peoples. I’d state that is a divine reckoning of the Presence of God. This is the better interpretation of it… that long and ‘buried past. A member of the Mau Mau movement of the 1950s in Kenya asked of the colonials… Why are you ruling us? And in the repossessed land of Zimbabwe where the cry… “Give us back our land! “ echoed the people’s dilemma. Interesting. A video from a Zimbabwean indigenous man, ‘I will sleep here on this land that you have taken…. Your have taken my fathers and my grandfathers land. And the settler owner’ insisted… “this is my land. I paid for it… “ and the indigenous man retorted..” I will sleep here until you leave my land….” I thought of prophecy about how all this could be: Ezekiel’s passages posed the issue; ……………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………. I will bring desolation to the land and everything in it to the hands of foreigners. I the Lord hath spoken.’ (Ibid…} Though that verse may bewilder some, those words are encouraging to me… . …. a very sensitive reminder that there is a Higher Source of governance in the universe. Examining the varied passages, I could not find any that did not evolve historical restrictions in the development of these nations. There is a divinity in it all... For me, it heightens my assurance that God is, and there is no other Power equal to that governing Power. Questions about any of this should be addressed to that Source of Power… to seek and find that Source is the responsibility of those so grievously affected by those ‘ancient’ Divine laws. The underlying question.. the motives behind the ‘Scramble for Africa’ are addressed in these prophecies.. Count Volney’ stated. How we are astonished when we consider that ‘to the race of Negroes, currently our slaves, we owe the beginning of the arts and the sciences. That remark speaks volumes for the Infinite Source governing the universe in the affairs of humanity. That ancient civilization and its associate nations were made crucially aware of the Power of that governing Source. It is a story of Love and Law not of hatred, separation, demons, distortions. History dictates the consistent conquest and rule by others of that ancient land and its extensions… there is a ‘divine’ reckoning for this.. There are so many drawings and sketchings on pyramid walls of this people. When I returned from overseas before ..Once, I was able to by some slip to see an impressive illustration on a pyramid wall… with that illustration no one would doubt the will of the Creator and this special people. Though I searched and searched I was unable to access that kaleidoscope on that wall or to fully identify which pyramid the kaleidoscope adorned the walls all around and throughout.. That is the hidden information that needs to be excavated pyramid chambers and exposed, revealed, shared with the world.… So many variations of this people on those walls. Yet those pyramids are secret chambers, not so open to public access. Is it not true that this people occupy a subordinated link to humanity ……………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………… The Egyptians will Il deliver to a cruel lord and fierce kings shall rule over them… thus saith the Lord…the lord of hosts…..( Isaiah 19:6..) Declare and present your case, Let them take counsel together... Who told this long ago? Who declared it of old? Was it not I, the lord? And there is no other god, besides me, a just God and a savior; there is none else.(Ibid… 45:20) This prophetic verse is even more accurately evaluated by today’s realities of the plight of that people. In the, ‘Mau, Mau uprising of the 1950s in Kenya a member of the resistant group asked of a colonist, a simple question… Why are you ruling us????? A very recent incident of one in Zimbabwe whose land was repossessed after being granted to him by the Zimbabwean government was shown on film telling a settler… “My father and my grandfather were stripped of their land. I will sleep here until you leave’ . This verse of prophecy… with Ezekiel’s prophetic words of the universal God. I will bring desolation on the land and everything in it by the hand of foreigners…I, the Lord hath spoken., (Ezekiel 30:12-13) ………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………. This of course is allegorical. However I wanted to emphasize the ‘me’ that I became in the process of developing ‘Nile and Sphinx, a Buried…’ I did not know this scripture. In fact the papers that preceded this development focused on a subject of rare prominence and importance … like the advanced knowledge of the Dogon of Mali about astronomical science. That phenomena occurred in studies about the traditions and customs of those indigenous people. though given leniency because of the subject….I thought… When I wrote about the people’s indigenous customs, I did not apply scripture because their traditions were a very ancient, advanced scriptural reality. Here are the exiled and dispersed all across the continent . their customs illustrate such an ancient system of law and authority. Then recalling the MA theme…I realized, oh yes, it too was ‘religious’ in the sense of indigenous traditions and customs, which were in so many ways advanced to the new religion to which they were introduced….in the realm of intuitive knowledge of the Infinite, the people ‘knew so much more’ about the order of the univers. ‘Ofoism’ an indigenous practice, that is, the passing on of the Ofo, a gourd shaped device from one head of clan to the other male members, designated leaders of future generation..… the ancestral ‘Ofo’ unified and linked the people to the roots of their Being… enabling them to build stonrg ties to challenge any imposition on their land and possessions. The Igbo challenged Britishers about the meaning of ‘native’ law and authority. What drove the people of that society… the Igbo to fight against British colonization with their indigenous systems,( which were, contrary to summaries by the outsiders), very advanced, sophisticated, ancient systems of law and authority? I wrote then of the response of Christian missionaries to the indigenous systems of culture.
