#Hope_vs_Expectation Hope and expectation are two words that are often confused due to similarity in their connotations. Strictly speaking there is some difference between hope and expectation. Expectations are often characterized by unfulfilled desires. On the other hand hope is not about unfulfilled desires. Hope is always about something which is likely to happen. Expectations are mostly unlikely to happen. This is one of the main differences between hope and expectation. Hope is all about imagination of the probable whereas expectation is sometimes about imagination of the improbable. Expectation leaves you in control whereas hope leaves it to chance or probability. #copied
