Hopefully, Im one of the first to say Happy Veterans Day to all the men and women who serve and have served this wonderful country we call home. Today, we honor YOU. You will not hear one radio ad, one radio interview or see one television commercial of any kind this special day because politics take a back seat to whats most important. This day is a day where I ask all to pause, take time in prayer thanking our heavenly father for sending us these courageous men and women who provide the blanket of freedom we sleep under every night. This day is also special as I honor my hero who left this earth he served when the lord called him home a year ago this last July. My Dad proudly served our country in the Air Force seeing his share of combat. We were stationed in England, Italy and here at home as well. I especially miss my Dad today. I call on those of you with darkened paths who want a better life to walk into a life of positivity stopping the cycle of violence you have seen or created. Youre life can and will get better. I call on those who have crime ridden neighborhoods to be positive in the fact THINGS WILL CHANGE and things will change for the better. I call on those who desperately seek a better way of life but your life and that of the family you love may have become shattered due to addiction. It CAN and will get better. If you have no where to turn, message me and Im happy to listen and help if I can. Thank you to all who have served this great country, giving people like me the freedom to run for a political office for what I believe. Theres no political party fighting on the front lines just as their shouldnt be in the administration of Justice. And, I know my Dad is smiling down knowing Im thinking about him too. Happy Veterans Day.....
