Hopefully True Story: I ran across this the other day and I will be trying to repeat it as close as I can. It is too ironic not to be true. A middle aged guy was really having a bad day. One of those Murphy Law days where what can go wrong, will go wrong. Anyhow, it was around lunch time and all of sudden he had an unbearable urge for a Burger King Burger. He had a pounding headache and thought this may help. Upon entering he noticed that there was a long line waiting to place their order and he didnt care, he just got in line with the rest. The next couple that came in and was standing behind him was a modestly dressed female with a screaming Son. She was talking on her cell phone and just ignored her yelling, screaming boy. All he kept saying was he wanted an Apple Turnover and he wanted it now. He kicked her in the shins a couple of times while yelling. By now, my headache turned into a migraine. She would say, not just yet honey pie, we will when we get to the counter. He continued his totally bratty screaming. Finally, I turned to the lady and said, If that was me at his age, I would get a good whomp on the ass and taken home! She glared at me, told me to mind my own business and no one will ever tell her to ever touch her charming little boy! By this time I had reached the counter, ordered my hamburger and asked How many apple turnovers do you have? They told me 23 and I told them that I will buy all of them to go. With a startled look, the server said OK and filled my order. I went to the doors to leave and looked back at the counter just in time to see the squalling boy and the Mother saying, What do you mean that you are out of Apple Turnovers? The Server looked in my direction and told her that I had bought them all. As she looked around at me with that scowl look on her face and the boy screaming threats at the top of his voice, I took a big bite out of the Apple Turnover with delicious filling running down my chin, smiled and said, Taste awesome and you two have a wonderful day! Wow! Does it get any better than this at quick thinking? Have a great day and weekend you all. God Speed
