Hopefully the newsfeed is filled with positive things like this between now and at least the New Year. I understand ‘the book’ is a social media outlet for people to voice their opinions, but I’m sick of all of the negative garbage that has constantly been dominating the news vs. things like this, which is taking the next step towards ensuring survival of our human race. Then again I know there will be the extreme leftists who say why are we spending billions on this when we could be putting it toward education and infrastructure? The earth will not always be habitable and small steps towards our next home are a necessary investment. Just think at what kind of positive affect a significant discovery could have on global society, the capabilities we have, and hope for the future. Accept it, support it, and embrace it. Well done NASA and happy Friday people! theatlantic/technology/archive/2014/12/nasa-orion-test-flight-mars-Cape-Canaveral-Air-Force-Station-apollo-earth-orbit/383404/
