Hopefully this helps some of us- Can we agree that not all calories are created equal? Here’s two examples of what 2000 calories looks like: Example 1: 44g of Fat 200g of Carbohydrates 200g of protein Example 2: 122g of Fat 113g of Carbohydrates 113g of protein Do you know what your ratios are and what you are consuming? I got curious so I created a spreadsheet. A lot of us are teachers, realtors, accountants, engineers, bankers, in the medical field, stay at home moms or dads, etc. So we are behind a desk or have access to a computer ALL DAY LONG, right? Try this spreadsheet out and track what you are eating. It’s not difficult and has already been started for you with lots of basic food examples; just add anything new that you want. You might be surprised to find out that you are eating way too much fatty food, or way too many carbs for your level of activity, or maybe not enough protein. I hope this helps (and surprises) some of us. GOOD LUCK and give the group some feedback. (Come on! Try it for a week. Ok 2 days. OK, 1 FULL day). Ok, Do it for your health.
