Hoping one of the knowledgeable folks here has current info. If a cyclist is issued a traffic ticket (fail to stop at stop sign) on a bicycle by a cop in a cruiser who issues him or her one of those new printed tickets that do NOT indicate specifically that the offence was committed on a bicycle nor a description or license plate of any motor vehicle and a drivers license was produced when the cop asked for it (dont ever do that!), but the ticket was ignored, the cyclist found subsequently guilty as a result and when the payment deadline came and went discovered his drivers license is suspended, can the Ministry of Transportation suspend the license when the offence was NOT committed in a motor vehicle? Any advice would be helpful. Thanks.
