Hora Te Pai delivers mental health services. Meeting with Cheryl Linge the CEO was a serendipitous moment for us all. Her personal travels through life are as rich a tapestry as the path of Hora Te Pai. Currently going through huge structural and funding changes it is a challenging time for all behind these doors. One has to question funding cuts to such essential services to our community. How do you try to hold on to a companies mana when it is constantly under the strain of internal upheavals? These amazing people have the faces of those who are determined to get it right, at any cost. Not just for themselves but for the people they serve. Wishing to create a safe multidisciplinarian environment, that supports the growth of employees as well as that of the clients. With strong leadership they can leap from strength to strength through any adversity. Thank you Faye Harerewa, Tiana Montgomery, Cheryl Linge and Awhina Nightengale. The insight you provided in to your mahi, all the hard work you do and the dedication with which you do it made us all grateful to you and for all those you help through their struggles too.
