Horrible! But note that honor killing is not something came into exist after prophet Mohammed was born. I am also not aware of any Quranic source to justify whats known as honor killings. The practice of honor killing had existed even well before Islam was founded by Mohamed. On the same note, Muslim majority societies should not practice this sorts of practices. This is not only anti- humane, but also very counter productive because all this hasty practice will be used by those who seek new enemies and fears for their own political mobilization. After all, God is love and God wouldnt love aggressors.
