You are far more dangerous than being in the middle of a ground war in Iraq, mental illness, addiction to booze, and regular drinking and driving, COMBINED; 2. You turn highly disciplined heroes into mass murderers; 3. You cant prevent people driven over the edge from doing harm with a piece of paper or a judges gavel; 4. You absorb millions of social services dollars that could have been spent supporting and treating this vulnerable family and mentally ill man rather than aggravating their crisis; 5. You spent dollars that could have saved lives on, what was it again? A new sign for the courthouse? A broken computer system? A BMW? 6. You, family lawyers, courts, psychologists, and professionals, have the substantial responsibility in this tragedy--and thousands more like it; 7. You are deluding yourselves at the cost of >human lives< if you believe you dont need to make >dramatic< changes immediately to >support< and protect families in crisis.
