Horror Movie Marathon 10/26 Movie 26 - Hot Fuzz 2007 Scare Factor - Hilariously funny slasher film This movie is one of my most favorite movies because it was the first (of many) that I saw with my wife Tina Scovell. I love the Simon Pegg horror comedies. The Brits style of comedy is the best. Shaun of The Dead is great! But Hot Fuzz is my favorite of the three (The Worlds End being the worst one). Anyone that is a fan of British comedy will love this. Hot Fuzz is about a British cop named Nicholas Angel. Hes an outstanding policeman that is married to his work. He takes a job in a small English village where people are set in their ways. Paired with a witless, drunk partner named Danny (played by Nick Frost); Nicholas starts to discover an evil force happening in this little town. People are dying gruesome deaths and they seem like accidents, but Nick sees what others dont. The movie is hilarious and its horror element is great. Its not overly scary and the death scenes are funny. Its a comedy so it plays on the horror element and the reasons behind certain events. The movie has action in it but its comical. The best scene is when Nick literally runs and does a flying kick into an old ladies face. Literally lost it in the theater. youtube/watch?v=ayTnvVpj9t4
