Rats and mice cause damage and spread disease, not to mention the amount of food they can consume and contaminate. There are a number of measures that you can take to avoid attracting them to your yard; Store all feed stuffs in suitable sealed containers. Avoid leaving haylage, hay, straw or hard feed lying on the floor, sweep up all spillages. Regularly move boxes and bins etc to prevent a safe undisputed place for them to live.
