**Horse Riders in Audley/Halmerend area St7 Red Hall Lane Next to Mineral Works ** Be aware** Last night whilst hacking our 3 well behaved horses we were chased and attacked by 3 big dogs 1 of which resembled a pit bull with scaring to its face - our horses dealt with the situation very well but did bolt off and the dogs chased us for about 0.5 mile - they escaped from under a fence out of their land onto the public footpath/threw road and were very aggressive - this incident could of been a lot worse and if we had of came off I wouldnt of liked to of imagined the outcome ! so please be aware and stay away police,rspca and dog warden have been informed and under the dangerous dogs act are investigating - so glad we are all okay and so glad no children were with us - upon returning to our yard we did notice that the dogs made contact with one of the horses and pierced the skin and caused it to bleed. Please share - to help enable the safety of other horses and riders, cyclists, walkers etc..... anyone that may use this area
