Horse update: The last 24 hours have been very exciting for me. I drove through pouring rain for 5 hours (most of it in the dark) so I could be in Holland, MI when my horse got off the trailer. I was feeling a bit fuzzy headed at 3:00 am as he arrived but it was totally worth it. He was beautiful and remained calm throughout. He went right to his stall and starting drinking and eating. Yay!! They are going to give him warm bran mashes for a few days to let him settle in. Back to the hotel for a few more hours sleep then out to visit him for a couple of hours before my drive back to Rockford. Very pleased to find out that he loves being groomed and stands quietly in the aisle. He lunges nicely too. He needs some weight on him and some conditioning. He is very large boned and nothing I have is going to fit that guy. He is residing at Holland Dressage, Inc in Holland, Michigan. Check out their Facebook page. The owners/trainers have great backgrounds. Cant wait to go back and see him. Next time I go, I hope to drag Ary Rezich Leckey and/or Lesley Schwenger with me. Will post pictures on my next visit.
