Horticultural assistant Position Avail Two - Three month contract One day a week and every other weekend, (Friday or Monday) 10am - 5pm Retail plant nursery, Silkstone, Barnsley. The Horticultural assistant will help with the general day to day operations of the nursery, duties include: Helping and advising/serving customers Maintain displays and general tidiness’ General horticultural work around the nursery including; Weeding, growing, potting, sowing, trimming, pruning, labeling, watering, sweeping, helping customers to the car etc The person for the position must have a keen interest in horticulture, be positive, enthusiastic, willing to work very hard, and MUST have a knowledge of plants.
