Horus has had a busy weekend, sadly not with the DDN crowd but down with me competing at the National British Carriagedriving Championships. I was without the campervan, so we were staying in a tent, but I am so proud of the way he dealt with it all, happy to be left in his crate when I was busy, not covered and with the door to the tent left open much of the time. He loved sleeping with me under the blankets, was remarkably chilled and accepting of the 2 friends I was with, and had his first go on a quad bike!! Trotted alongside happily, but when he got tired he asked to jump up and ride with me, then got down for another go once he had caught his breath. And we did our bit for DDN, doing a spontaneous demo of tricks outside the marathon briefing - triggered by him worrying about a German Shepherd nearby, but ended up with a round of applause from people around us who I hadnt realised were watching! He did of course have his deaf dog harness on. Just love my little dog, such a difference every year but amazing every single day.
