Hosanna Hills Guide Service Fishing Report for Jan. 22 >> >> Fished in two locations this afternoon, the canebreak and the gravel bar next to the launch ramp at Beaver Dam Access. Noted that at the canebreak there were two fly fishermen downstream from where we were, trying their luck at the hole. During the short time that we were there, we did not notice that they were successful. We did well using silver spoons. Moved to the gravel bar and found that the fish there were small, but did go after the spoons as well as yellow power bait with a wax worm to top it off. The day was great if you stayed protected from the wind. A couple of other fishermen were there and were doing OK. Sorry we missed your happy smiling faces! >> Generation took place this morning from 7 through 9. It is scheduled to resume from 6 to 10 PM, the first hour at 44% capacity increasing to 88% for 7 and 8, then dropping to 44% for the last two scheduled hours. Weather today is predicted to give us a high temperature of 39 degrees F. under sunny skies with afternoon winds from the WNW at 8 MPH. You may want to hold off on your fishing plans for tomorrow, since the high is predicted to attain a balmy 20 degrees F.
