Hosanna Hills Guide Service Fishing report for 10-24-13 > > Hang on to your hat today since gusts are supposed to be 22 MPH! Fished this morning in only two locations, directly below the Beaver Dam and at the gravel bar near the launch ramp near the dam. Began late, around 10:30 AM and found that the trout were accepting yellow, pink, spring green and orange power bait until 11:15 AM, when the bite slowed noticeably. Moved to the gravel bar and used salmon peach to finish up for the day. Sad thing was that I did not encounter any other fishermen at either location. Do not know any details about Parker Bottom or Bertrand launch ramp, but, hopefully, others were there enjoying the great morning bite. This afternoon looks like a GREAT time to fish; and, if the crowd is like the one this morning, you will have the choice of the areas without company. None of the trout caught this morning had legs, so do not wait for them to come to you. If you want them you will have to go to them. Get out there and have a good time! The weather prediction for the day indicates an expected high temperature of 53 degrees F. with sunny skies and winds of 7 MPH gusting to 22 MPH. Generation for the rest of the day is slated to begin at 6 PM at 44%, increasing to 88% at 7 PM and then back to 44% for 8 and 9 PM. > Stay warm!
