Hospital Day 6 end of day update: 1. This might not be appropriate but seriously after 7days without pooping. I finally Pooped! Trust me I was really worried. So this was BIG NEWS all day. 2. My pain is getting a bit more manageable. Im trying to wean myself off of the morphine. Im suppose to meet with the infectious disease Specialist Dr Woods tomorrow. So far all viral tests have come back negative. So, if I can manage my pain by tomorrow I might possibly be able to leave that or Saturday. So lets pray for good results tomorrow. 3. I blew out another vein with my iV. This was really bad and my right hand looks like a fat sausage with little Vienna sausage fingers. So another iV on the left hand we go. (sigh) 4. Thanks to my girls and my parents for hauling my girls around and bringing them to the hospital to hang out with me even if its just for a few minutes while theyre doing their homework. Also Thank you to all the friends I got to talk to today and text. Melinda Aguirre, Audrey Aguirre, Dorothy Ortiz (so great to hear from lil D its been awhile...but definitely awesome to catch up. Definitely brightened my day to hear from her.) Thanks to Mike Lopez and @Bobby Garcia for stopping by and Laura Motz Tyler for my hot chocolate sooo yummy and Jamie Gregg for my schlotzskys.
