Hospital update - oncologist just left out - blood counts did come up a little, so thats good...however, shes concerned because even with the new, strong antibiotics hes on for the MRSA, he still ran a fever through the night. They are watching closely for fever & will repeat urine & blood cultures tomorrow - & might be calling in an infectious diseases (?) specialist doctor also, to get on board. They are changing his cardiac IV med because he still has trouble with his heart rate going up every time he gets up. Our patient is slightly ;-) agitated today, with not feeling well mainly, but also he feels like every day is adding a new battle. Appreciating the prayers for him & our family - thank you :-)
