Hospital update on my father in law/Papa Simmons - we just got back from him having an echo on his heart & ultrasound done on his legs. Upon returning to his room, we were informed that along with the other issues he his battling - he is now testing positive for staph infection, not what we wanted to hear....But we know what the power of prayer can do! He is currently being given another unit of red blood cells (&napping) and course of his meds will change a bit. Hes still very weak this morning, but we are getting some humor out of him every once in a while ;-) A special thanks to Uncle Hubert (Marie Simmons) for staying all last night at the hospital with him... We appreciate you! Ill update more when the oncologist rounds later today. Thanks to all who are checking on him & keeping him in your prayers!
