Hospitalist Job Outside Greenville, SC. Join 6 other Hospitalist physicians. Nocturnists and day time shifts available. Schedule consist of 12 hour shifts; 5 days on with 5 days off. Inpatient responsibilities include seeing some patients in the ICU and admitting patients through the ER in accordance with a rotating call schedule. Physicians are provided with a mid-level provider to help round and follow-up on the patients. The census varies between 15-17 patients per day. There is 24/7 intensivist, cardiology and general surgery back up. Acute-care medical facility serves more than 8K inpatients and 100K outpatients each year.
