This Senior Executive Service (SES) position is located in Washington, D.C. and reports to the Deputy Associate Administrator for Citizen Services and Innovative Technologies. About the job: The Federal Citizen Information Center (FCIC) engages with the public using multiple channels, including digital tools and new media that help people discover and use government information anytime, anywhere and on any device. The FCIC Director plans and leads this high visibility nationwide program to provide consumer and general government information to the public through the official U.S. portals USA.gov and GobiernoUSA.gov, a national contact center (1-800-FED-INFO), which provides phone and online communications, a variety of social media and external partner channels, and through distribution of Federal agency printed and digital publications. The Director also plans, directs and coordinates strategies and initiatives to engage the public and government in dialogs, idea generation, and other collaborative activities related to the FCIC mission.
