"Hot Jobs" Title: Field Engineer - Civil Job Location: Pakistan Job Description: a) Objective: Field Engineer supports the project coordinator in the construction of approved structures e.g. suspension bridges and micro hydropower plants. He is responsible to ensure quantity and quality of material used, compliance with technical standards, provide technical support to other field staff. All activities carried out are meant to improve and protect the environment of the target communities. b) Responsibilities: Plan, design and oversee construction and maintenance of building structures e.g. micro hydropower plants (MHPs) and suspension bridges in KPK Undertake technical and feasibility studies including site identification and investigations for MHPs and suspension bridges in target area Undertake calculations and evaluations e.g. bills of quantity, cost estimates Liaise with all relevant stakeholder and various professionals e.g. contractor , beneficiaries and local authorities Plan, assign and mobilize work force on sites in the case of cash for work activities e.g. compile job specifications and supervise labor Monitor work process at construction sites e.g report field activities on regular basis Quantity and quality control of construction material procured Ensuring quality and compliance with technical standards and requirements of construction activities Regular field visits Source:: myjobmydestination/
