The only references to that name on the Internet were those of Bobby Doyle jazz vocalist and composer, member of the jazz rock band Blood, Sweat & Tears, where also was Kenny Rogers. Could this be the same person who recorded a single in Trinity and two more in Back Beat? Yes indeed it was. After finishing school in Austin and before going to the univertity, he formed The Bobby Doyle Three with a young Kenny Rogers, and from that time have their first contact with rock&roll. Bobby was an awesome musician, great pianist and also played nearly all the instruments. Later Kenny would say that Bobby Doyle was the best musician I had worked with. Also, he loved all kinds of styles, rockabilly, doo-wop (was part of The Spades / The Slades), country, jazz, etc. In fact lots of them where present along his musical career. He died in 2006 of lung cancer, was a heavy smoker until the end. Las únicas referencias con ese nombre en internet eran las del Bobby Doyle vocalista y compositor de jazz, miembro de la banda de jazz rock Blood, Sweat & Tears, donde también estaba Kenny Rogers. ¿Podría ser esta la misma persona que grabó un sencillo en Trinity y dos más en Back Beat? Efectivamente sí lo era. Tras terminar el colegio en Austin y antes de comenzar la universidad, formó The Bobby Doyle Three con un joven Kenny Rogers, y de esa época tenemos sus primeros escarceos con el rock&roll. Bobby era un gran músico, muy buen pianista y además tocaba casi todos los instrumentos. Más tarde Kenny diría que Bobby Doyle fue el mejor músico con el que había trabajado. Además, le encantaban todo tipo de estilos, rockabilly, doo-wop (formó parte de The Spades/The Slades), country, jazz, etc. De hecho durante su carrera musical se vió influenciado claramente por todos ellos. Murió en 2006 de cáncer de pulmón, fue un fumador empedernido hasta el final.
