Hot Soups...hmmm...time to retire them until fall?? The sharp dip in soup sales this week reminds me of mid-May last year when we decided soups would be a fall/winter/early-spring thing at Windsor Breads. While many of our soup fans have eagerly assured me that they would eat soup year round, Im at the point where balancing our busy order schedule, three farmers markets and a busy shop may necessitate the retirement of soups once more until fall. Heres your chance to weigh in, Fans of Windsor Breads... Until a decision is made, our hot soup today is Chicken Dumpling, fresh Monster Cookies are just out of the oven, and Ive got to get back to the kitchen to slice up the 18 pounds of fresh rhubarb thats been brought in from Windsor/DeForest gardens the past two days...mmm...rhubarb... Happy Day, everyone!!
