Hot and Cheesy Bruschetta dip! This dip is so hearty and tasty it could be a meal. Now I didnt take as many pictures of the prep this time, but there isnt much too this dip. This is based on a recipe from Pampered Chef and was so good at one of their parties I had to make this myself. This is not hard to make since you really just put in the ingredients and stir. Im going to tell you to make this without the puff pastry topping since its really unnecessary. Ingredients 8oz Mozzarella cheese (shredded) 8oz cream cheese (softened) 1/4 cup mayo 3 cloves garlic (minced) 1 1/2 tsp of Pampered Chef Herb de Provence seasoning or you can use a lemon and Rosemary seasoning from your grocery store. 1/4 tsp ground black pepper 1 pint grape tomatoes Toasted bread slices of crackers to serve with the dip Now I made this dip with the puff pastry on top so that is why mine has a solid top in the end. If you are serving this with slices of bread then the pastry on top just makes too much breading. So lets get started. Get out all your ingredients and shred your cheese and mince your garlic etc. You want to make this in a dish that can be used in the microwave and oven. I used a small stone baker dish. Preheat your oven to 425F. Mix your cream cheese, garlic, mayonnaise, pepper, and seasoning in a mixing bowl or right in the baking dish. Stir in the mozzarella cheese. Using a food processor or knife coarsely chop half your pint of tomatoes. Add them to the cheese mixture and stir everything together. Repeat this step with the other half of the tomatoes and stir them in as well. Put this dish in the microwave for 1 minute and then stir and cook one more minute so the cheese is just starting to melt. Put the dish in the oven she bake 16 minutes or until it is melted and bubbling. You can serve this with some triscuits or crackers. If you want to use bread buy a loaf of french bread and slice it up. Drizzle or brush with olive oil and place in the oven at 425F for 5-8minutes until the bread is crisp not burned. Enjoy! As always like and share this recipe and others with friends.
