Hot on the heels of the highly successfully Lone Ranger movie Disney films has released this advanced press release: Coming summer of 2015 will be a re-take on the original Disney release Mary Poppins. This film will be directed by Tim Burton and will feature Helen Bonham Carter cast as Mary Poppins. Mary’s sidekick Burt will be played by none other than Johnny Depp. Music is to be provided Danny Elfman who will be creating the soundtrack and an entirely new set of songs for this special presentation. None of the original songs will be featured. To bring the music up to date and gain street credibility Danny Elfman will be sampling the vocals of dead gangster rappers Big E Smalls and Tupoc Shakur and by using cutting edge technology editing existing vocal snippets together to form syllables for words. Creative input will be assisted by the Stargate folks who’s hit making songs have caused a sensation for multiple artists. This Swedish production team will ensure words will be easily understandable along with shout out passages of pure nonsense syllables so poplar with the younger crowd. In bring this version up to date a new character will be brought in, the prior nanny Rehesha Worthing who was let go, instead of quitting like all prior governesses. Despite the children loving Rehesha the parental father George Banks was not too happy with the demeanor of the prior said governess Rehesha Worthing as to played by Nicki Menaj. Nikki Manaj will also have a rousing musical number pulled from the now extinct Disney Nightclub the adventures club, titled “Press your buttocks to the window let me know that you are home”. Per Bob Igor, “We are very excited to modernize this original Disney classic. This will no doubt preserve the spirit of the original classic yet still bring it up to date seamlessly.” Production begins September of 2013 . . . . . . . . . April Fool (yes in July)
