Hotel in Montreal - BOOKED! Another awesome deal booked online with the hotel directly! Probably the second nicest hotel Ive stayed at - EVER (and thats a long time)! Sometimes youve just gotta say WTF, and treat yourself! It pays to shop around online and compare prices found on travel sites (Expedia, Hotwire, Trivago {which are all the same company} etc.) with the actual hotel website prices. The really nice hotels ALWAYS have deals, if you look for them. Expedia ALWAYS claim they have the best deals, but they RARELY, if EVER do! This time, Expedia had a higher rate than the hotel itself, and if Id booked through them I would have had to pay the entire cost upfront, and then it was NON-REFUNDABLE, and couldnt be CHANGED, or CANCELLED. Booked through the hotel directly, online, in less than 30 seconds, it was cheaper, and I can change/cancel up to 24 hours before I arrive. So excited! See you soon, Montreal! x
