Hours written & directed by Eric Heisserer is about a man named Nolan Hayes played by the late Paul Walker, who losses his wife played by Genesis Rodriguez, who gave birth to their new born daughter. The movie takes place the day Hurricane Katrina so the Hurricane causes the hospital to lose its electricity but the hospital has a generator. Nolans baby was a pre mature baby so she cant breathe on her own until after her first 48 hours. So a machine is helping her breathe but the machine loses battery power and the entire hospital evacuates so Nolan is all on his own. He relies on an old machine to give some battery life but not much and things get more complicated for him and its a struggle to save his daughter. This film took me by surprise. The movie is very well gone, Paul Walker gave good performance, the story kept men invested until the end and it was pretty emotional. I did take issue on the fact that no doctor or nurse stayed to help him. There is a scene that involves 2 bad guys that felt tacked on and was unnecessary. But overall it really enjoyed the movie and I recommend it especially if you are a Paul Walker fan.
