House Break-In: Parkgate-KwaZulu Natal Four occupants of a burgundy Toyota Corolla broke into a home in Edenglen Close, Parkgate. The suspects drove up to the home were they derailed the driveway gate before entering the property. While three suspects forced their way into the house the fourth suspect approached construction workers at a neighbouring home and threatened them to remain silent and not call for assistance. According to the construction workers the suspect was armed with a large firearm presumably a rifle or a shot gun. The suspects ransacked three bedrooms in the house and stole a large amount of cash, a laptop, jewellery and other household items. They then fled the scene in an unknown direction. Reaction Unit South Africa’s control centre received a call from a member of the public reporting the incident. Reaction Officers went in search of the suspects however no arrests were made.
