House Break-In Suspect Arrested: Verulam-KwaZulu Natal An Indian male who broke into a home on Rosemary Drive, Brindhaven, was arrested by members of Reaction Unit South Africa. Reaction Officers were dispatched to the residence after receiving a tip off regarding a break-in in progress. Upon arrival at the home Officers found the upper half of a stable door leading to the kitchen had been broken. Several Officers penetrated the residence and found a chair lying directly below an open trap door leading to the ceiling. Two Reaction Officers entered the ceiling and found the suspect hiding in between two wooden beams. The suspect was placed under arrest and escorted out of the ceiling. Officers interviewed the 19 year old suspect who stated that two African males threatened to stab him if he did not break into the home and remove valuables. The suspect is a resident of Redcliffe, Verulam, and has been arrested by Reaction Officers on previous occasions for theft.
