House Democratic Leader-elect Tim Greimel has appointed State Representative Brandon Dillon as Minority Vice Chair of Appropriations, going into the 2015 legislative session. Another Grand Rapids Democrat, State Representative Winnie Brinks, has been tabbed as the Policy Chair. Leadership Positions, as provided by the State House: · Assistant Leaders: State Reps. Fred Durhal III (D-Detroit) and Vanessa Guerra (D-Saginaw) · Whip: State Rep. Robert Kosowski (D-Westland) · Caucus Chair: State Rep. David E. Rutledge (D-Ypsilanti) · Democratic Caucus Vice-Chair: State Rep. Leslie Love (D-Detroit) · Minority Vice Chair of Appropriations: State Rep. Brandon Dillon (D-Grand Rapids) · Policy Chair: State Rep. Winnie Brinks (D-Grand Rapids) These members will join a leadership team that includes State Rep. Sam Singh (D-East Lansing) as Democratic Floor Leader. As a result of his being elected chair of the Detroit Caucus, Rep. Brian Banks (D-Detroit) is also part of the House Democrats leadership team.
